Border Ranges wedding – stunning backdrop
A simple but spectacular Border Ranges wedding to remember as Caz and Wayne married their perfect partners in the most amazing place – Blackbutt lookout. Nestled among the treetops with a stunning backdrop of majestic Mount Warning watching over them and the ocean twinkling beyond, Caz and Wayne said their heartfelt vows and literally tied the knot.
Fun, joyful and relaxed was the draft. And this is how it went….
We met at their house at 7:15am – that’s right, am! – and piled into their Prado. An adventurous drive bouncing along a gravel road took us past gorgeous countryside, Hanging Rock Hall, and deep into the Border Ranges National Park in the Northern Rivers region of NSW to arrive at Blackbutt lookout by 8am. Stunning. Breathtaking. Draw-dropping. Perfection.
We relaxed into place and began the ceremony. Emotions rose as Caz and Wayne exchanged personal, honest vows from the heart. We all took part in a handfasting, representing Caz and Wayne’s lives until that moment, and the commitment they’d just made to each other. Finally, their first kiss as husband and wife. Woot woot! Followed by a second kiss, etc:)
Talented growers and arrangers of Australian natives and wildflowers, Hanging Rock Flowers supplied Caz’s abundant bouquet and floral crown , Wayne’s buttonhole, and petally confetti. A great choice for any Border Ranges wedding as they’re located on the fringe of the national park.
Champagne cheers and well wishes flowed as we took our time to sign the marriage documents, happily soaking in the serenity.
Caz and Wayne started their new day like no other. Returning home as a married couple, their smiles fixed broadly across their faces. Joyful it was. Fun and relaxed, absolutely. An absolute pleasure and privilege to have shared in this magical morning and marriage. Congratulations Caz and Wayne xoxo
