Rainy day romance at Tintenbar Hall

    March 22, 2021March 30, 2021 ByCatherine Yager

Rain is good luck on your wedding day and Neva and Danny expected lots of it. Rain, that is. Danny proposed in torrential rain, and their engagement party was flooded. Last week, the weather app forecast 100% rain for their wedding day. As a result, Zoe from Panorama Events calmly guided teams of helpers to…

Best day ever at Goolmangar Hall

Small communities are awesome. For country weddings, everyone’s so generous, pitching in to make sure the couple have the best day ever. This was definitely the case for J and L and just shows how well-loved they are.

Wow!! Where do we start? Firstly, I think we need... to say that if you are looking for a celebrant that gives more than 100% of herself, then Catherine is the celebrant for you. She did everything possible to make our wedding day so special and exactly as we dreamed it would be. At no time did Catherine make us feel we were asking too much of her and in fact, we cannot believe she charges so little compared to other celebrants. We sincerely want to say thank you to Catherine for making our support magical. Jane and Dave Newsteadread more

" Our wedding was made extra special by our... incredibly warm celebrant Catherine Yager. Catherine went over and above to get to know us personally by sending individual questions for the bride and groom to answer, enabling her to weave lovely personal words through our ceremony. The interactive tying of the knot with 5 coloured ribbons brought the tapestry of our families together. A wonderful celebration of love. We felt relaxed and calm in Catherine’s very organised hands.read more

From our initial phone contact through to the day of our ceremony, Catherine demonstrated that she was careful and attentive to details while providing us with a sincere presence. We could not speak highly enough of Catherine,... who from the start 'got us', making us feel completely at ease. After her first visit with us, we both felt immediately that 'this was the one'🙂 We then started to make things difficult by changing the wedding date on more than one occasion and we were never made to feel like anything was a hassle. Catherine being a true romantic at heart, loves what she does and despite our nerves you can't help but get caught up in it all. Our ceremony was funny, heartfelt, relaxed and above all very much us. We could not recommend Catherine enough to make your special day even more special. Thank you Catherine.read more

Catherine was an amazing celebrant. Super... friendly, caring, easy going and listened to what we wanted for our day. She really went above and beyond to make sure our surprise wedding not only stayed a surprise but the made the whole process go smoothly. She always made sure we were going okay along the way and was even so accommodating to us when it came to our meetings. Would highly recommend her to anyone needing a celebrant. Thank you Catherine!read more

  • Content, fulfilled love. Look at those eyes - they say so much. The after-glow of a wonderful wedding ceremony. Small communities are awesome. For country weddings, everyone’s so generous, pitching in to make sure the couple have the best day ever. This was definitely the case for J and L and just shows how well-loved they are.

Mind you, J and L knew roughly what they wanted and in the months leading up to their wedding, their ideas evolved to result in a very unique celebration that truly reflected their style.

First there was the calming incense wafting through the hall and meadowy wildflowers so fresh they were placed seconds prior to the wedding. Then the Radiohead entrance music and a Homer Simpson vow.

From the deeply meaningful handfasting with parents to the hairy-chested guy in a bridesmaid dress. Then the earthly Apache blessing to the script that turned into a guestbook.

All culminated in a thunderous foot-stomping congratulations on the timber floor as J and L walked back up the aisle. It was a fantastic start to married life!

Goolmangar Hall has a new story to tell of the couple that dealt with changing COVID-19 restrictions to make sure their wedding was truly a celebration of their own relationship, embraced by a warm community of family and friends. There were no pretences, and there were big smiles all around.

There’s a new couple in town. Well done J and L – a wedding to remember. #byronbaywedding #engaged #bride #groom #countrywedding #northernriversnsw #uniquewedding
